What began as a shared need among nine community members has grown into an enduring institution serving Naupada for over ninety years.

We create opportunities for people to gather, learn, celebrate traditions and support one another across generations.

The idea takes shape
As Naupada grew, the need arose for a rightful public space for gatherings, annual celebrations and family lectures. Discussions among Shri Gangal, Bhadkamkar, Medhekar, Mule and Marathe brought forward the core idea.

A historic public letter
A letter bearing the signatures of 22 leading members was published to give the shared idea a concrete form.

Plot No. 19
A request was made to landowner Shri Shridharpant Nene to sale his saleable plot in Brahman Society to our organisation.

A name and a new beginning
The first official general meeting was held and the name Brahman Seva Sangh was adopted.
From the archive
The people who began the journey
The first office-bearers were Shri D. G. Gangal, Shri V. D. Limaye, Shri V. N. Bhadkamkar and others. The executive committee included P. N. Gogate, M. G. Pathak, G. S. Sahasrabudhe, D. S. Sahasrabudhe, G. G. Sahasrabudhe and B. D. Sahasrabudhe. These visionaries established the foundation of service that continues today.

A building shaped by collective effort
Each expansion reflects the generosity and commitment of the community across three key milestones.
Formal establishment
On Gudhi Padwa, the organisation was formally established. The first Shri Ram Janmotsav was celebrated that same year.
The first own building
After the foundation ceremony in January, the Sangh new community building stood ready by July.
First-floor expansion
A Building Committee and the support of the community helped successfully complete the first floor.
Our Contribution
Tradition with a living purpose
Religious, cultural, educational and health initiatives continue to evolve through active community participation.
Festivals and Culture
Celebrations including Ram Navami, Kojagiri, Dussehra and community Vratabandha preserve culture and bring generations together.
Education and Opportunity
Oratory competitions, Sanskrit scholarships and educational assistance encourage promising students to move forward.
Health and Care
Health initiatives and medical assistance support people in need with compassion and dignity.
